The Department of Applied Sciences provides the basic scientific knowledge required for engineering and technology education. It teaches Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communication Skills and other foundation subjects that support all engineering disciplines. The department serves as a bridge between basic science and engineering by helping students understand the scientific principles behind engineering concepts. The department combines classroom teaching with laboratory work to help students understand scientific concepts and apply them in practice. With experienced faculty members and well-equipped laboratories, the department develops scientific thinking, logical reasoning, communication skills, professional ethics and environmental awareness among students, thereby preparing students for higher studies, successful careers and lifelong learning.

The Applied Science and Humanity department has well operational laboratories. All modern equipment's, tools and machinery are available for student training.

Parallelogram apparatus, Hook’s Law apparatus, flywheel, hot Bath, Cantilever, Ultrasonic Interferometer, OHM’s Law Apparatus, Apparatus to verify Resistance in series and parallel combination, Kirchho’s Law verification apparatus, parallel plate capacitor study apparatus, conversion of galvanometer into ammeter and voltmeter apparatus-I characteristics (PN Junction diode) apparatus Numerical aperture of an optical fiber measurement apparatus.

Electric arc welding machine, Spot welding machine ,chop saw, angle grinder, grinding machine, gas cylinder & gas regulator (oxy-acetylene) hand face shield, auto darkening welding helmet, chipping hammer, metal files, wire brush, leather apron, leather hand gloves etc as per the syllabus requirement.
